The audience for DNS-O-Matic is anyone in the world with a dynamic IP address who wants to use services which need to know your current IP address at all times. (See services below.)

End users will be introduced to DNS-O-Matic in the near future.

Right now (October 2007), OpenDNS invites developers to review the DNS-O-Matic API documentation and start adding support for DNS-O-Matic to their client software or hardware devices. builds on common ideas already supported by most software and services, adding only what's necessary.

Adding support for DNS-O-Matic is straightforward.
