INADYN windows command line version

The client is based on inadyn, but modified to support HTTPS (SSL) and preconfigured to use OpenDNS's account update URL by default. Should work on Windows 2000 and later.

  1. Download the software.
  2. Unzip to your desired location.
  3. Download the DNS-O-Matic configuration file, inadyn.conf.
  4. Edit inadyn.conf with your DNS-O-Matic username and password.
  5. Run the program.
  6. inadyn will always look for inadyn.conf in the same directory it's in.
  7. See the inadyn website or the readme.html file for instructions on setting inadyn up as a service.

Source code of the SSL-enhanced version of inadyn is available from OpenDNS's dynamic IP page.
